Put Buddy in the bed? Scoop Shio up after he goes to sleep and put him in the bed? Try his crate padding on top of the bed? Shio, sleep in the bed! P.S. You are so cute, and I love all the different photos of you.

THANK YOU!

Shio @ 8 months

Shio is finally 8 months old! It’s amazing how much he has changed in this past month. Quick recap of this month: He has finished teething on everything in our apartment (yay!) and is able to be left home alone without being crated for 6 hours at a time. He’s clingy! This was a big…

Did she used to bite you too? Our shiba is 5 months, and thinks that saying hello is to bite us. No matter what we try we can’t shake it, and we are hoping it is just while she is teething. Its gotten a lot less forceful than it was, but still she wants to bite us instead of letting us stroke her.
She will also wait outside our bedroom door in the morning, which is sooo cute!
Do you think Shio is full size yet?

The mouthing when he says “hello” only happens every once in a while with J and I but not anyone else. He used to do it frequently but I think it was more of the young puppy excitement that he’s grown out of.

The period when he was teething was the worst and I’m glad its over!

He’s 23.5 lbs now so I hope he’s full size!

Good luck with your little Shiba and take lots of pictures! They grow up so quickly!

(Truth be told, it could have been more my lighting techniques vs….

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m going to look into that lens before considering getting the 50mm. Btw, I really like the wallpapers, especially the first one. I love it when shibas make their ears like that.

Going forward, we will be posting some of our photos in even higher resolution. Why? Because Shio is cuter is HD. Don’t believe us? See for yourself. Taken with Nikon D700, 50mm f/1.4G. SB-900 triggered with RadioPopper into Calumet 60″ umbrella. Tweet This Post
