Shio does look familiar! There's been so many Shibas in the neighborhood. I live in the West Village so I'm very close to the Hudson River Park. Sumo and Kicho loves it there. We have a friend who has a Jindo and oh-my-gosh he was just as determined as a Shiba. Haha - Shio screamed a handful of times when he was a puppy and it was awful. He definitely grew out of the screaming but still has temper tantrums. They grow out of it? I'm an experienced dog owner, just a long time since I had a puppy...We will be going to puppy socials when has shots, and have him meeting all kinds of people, just at night, maybe he's tired and mean mommy wants him to stop chewing on the wall and all hell breaks loose... :) Any words of encouragement??? ha!
