What Does Shio Eat?

Shio eats better than me. You don’t believe me? Every week, Shio’s food is professionally prepared with a meatloaf recipe adapted from the inu-baka blog: The base of his meals is the “Ultimate Shiba Meatloaf”, which consists of ground beef, turkey, chicken, liver, assorted veggies (broccoli, carrots, string beans, etc), blueberries, parsley, eggs, flax seeds,…

I’ve seen some really nice Lumix pix out there. Thanks for the rec!
I’m trying to save up for a DSLR though… even a used one would be nice right now!
And indeed, that looks like some mighty fine muttloaf.

You can get better action photos with the DSLR for sure, but for the most situations the GH2 performs just as well, and the size is a real advantage. When we take Shio in a car, and then also make sure he has his water, snack, etc., it is much easier to carry the GH2 than a DSLR. I often wonder what it’s like to have 2 dogs too…

In terms of DSLR, new entrants like Sony makes really interesting, and cost-efficient, alternatives to Nikon and Canon…!

mmmm yum! Shio is lucky to have a personal chef.

Where Shio At?

Tell Shio, tell!

hmm 24mm f1.4. hmm. how tempting (but oh so pricey). do you love it?
and, when does this season start?? we’re waiting!

JML

I personally think the 50mm f/1.4 will is a more useful everyday lens, but the 24mm is definitely very sharp and renders the out of focus areas (bokeh) nicely.

The next season will begin very shortly actually! :)

Haha, “The Suki Lens”

I read that while wondering if you knew of Suki. Glad I found your blog! I always tell people that if I had no choice but to choose one lens to have, the 24 1.4 would be it. My favorite lens ever =)
