Two weekends ago, we took Shio on a long walk to Pier 6. Much to our surprise, he did not protest (he did, however, slow down at certain parts of the walk) and put up with us. Photos taken with Contax 645, 80mm f/2, on Portra 400. Developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
Me: “Shio — want some goji berries?” Shio: “Yes please!!” Shio: “Tastes kind of funny, but I like it…” Shio: “It’s so small… Hard to chew…!! It’s getting stuck in my teeth!!” Shio: “Hmmm… Not sure if I love it… But I will take another one dad!” Photos taken with Nikon D700, 24mm f/1.4G.

The sight of 15 or more shibas together is quite amazing / amusing. I cannot speak for others, but shiba owners are really passionate about their dogs and the breed. And how can you blame us? Shibas are so fully of personality and quirky traits. Once you go shiba, you cannot go back! So how…
