The crate is called Great Paw Abode ordered from Amazon. It was the only crate I could find that is long enough to fit our two Shibas while also narrow enough to fit the small dimensions of our hatchback’s curved trunk. We find that after many trials and tribulations, crating is the only way to go for car rides. The only drawback is that the crate can only unzip from the front and top, but not the side which would’ve been more convenient for hopping in and out of the trunk.
Another suggestion that came highly recommended was the Firstrax NOZTONOZ crate. Had the dimensions for that been appropriate, we would’ve bought that one instead. Many of our Shiba friends stand by its quality and durability.
