Living with these two Shibas has been nothing short of an amazing journey. Day by day they entertain and put smiles on our face like nothing else has ever before. Yanow, Bowdu was always comfortable in front of the camera, but we found that Bowdu really learned how to ham it up (especially for the camera) after Bowpi arrived. Is that what’s going on here, too?

Yea! So glad you’ve seen a change. Best part – you can enjoy the walks more too. Our walker and our doggie daycare have no idea why I call Zuko “monster dog”. They tell me he’s awesome – walks nice on leash, behaves himself, comes when called. I ask the same question “Are we talking about the same dog?”. I do have to admit Zuko has mellowed with age and now “monster” is a term of affection but still – he clearly exhibits different behavior when NOT with his parents. 
That’s awesome! So glad Shio is enjoying walks now and Emi has adjusted. Do you think Emi just being Emi helped Shio, too? She seems to be (from 3k miles away and what I’ve read) a little more outgoing.

That is so awesome!! I wish we had a break-through like that with Kaiju. Was it really just the difference in attitude? All Shio wanted was for you to be uplifting? I’ve tried going out there with him with many different attitudes in the past 2 years, with no luck. Maybe we should really try a walker (never have).
