Shio vs. Costumes

Been trying Halloween costumes on Shio for this year and I’m not sure it’s gonna happen. He looks incredibly upset with clothes on!

I’m a bad mom and I laugh at him as his legs suddenly stop working and flops down into a pile of miserable mush. That and the airplane ears (like Zuko on his 2nd birthday!) and the stare that can only be described as the “whale eye”. Puahahah.

Shio vs. Lion

Yesterday, Ting and I saw this post on Racked. Given we are always looking to meet new shibas, we decided to take Shio there today.

Roy was extremely cute. He’s more chill than Shio — Roy preferred to watch the store visitors from atop the check-out counter.

The store keepers were kind enough to let Roy play with Shio. After a bit of sniffing and getting-to-know-each-other, Shio proceeded to check out the rest of the store.

Soon, Shio found the lion, and decided to take the lion on with the rest of the gang.

This went on for about 10 minutes, at which point we decided to break it up.

We wouldn’t want the lion to get hurt or anything…
