Shio has become a much happier puppy due to the change in weather. Not only is he more playful when we take him to the park, etc., he is even walking well on the leash during routine walks! This past weekend we took him to Prospect Park, and he had the zoomies… However, he was…

With the slightly cooler weather we have been getting in NY, Shio seems to be happier when playing outside. In fact, he even played with other dogs! After spending an hour at the park, we took Shio to the farmer’s market and got him cheese and fresh marrow bone. He had a good day indeed….

it’s been raining all week up here in boston. hopefully we can let kaiju out to run this weekend.
i’d like to try giving marrow bone to kaiju. is that something i can just get bone from a butcher?
Yup… If you are a bit worried, you can flash boil the bone first (i.e. put it in boiling water for 2 / 3 minutes so it is not completely raw) — we did that in the beginning to ease Shio into eating the fully raw bone. Also, for bigger bones with a lot of marrow in it, we use a spoon to scope out some of the marrow because it is too rich for Shio. Good luck! Kaiju will love it I am sure!!
