Since we’ve moved, Shio has been going through many changes. One of them being a new spot for napping. After several months, I think we finally have a winner! Tweet This Post

There seems to be an influx of unwanted litters of kittens in the Brooklyn area lately. We dropped by our local pet shop to pick up a codfish skin stick (more on that later!) and there was a small basket of kittens who were only a few weeks old. Tweet This Post

Is Shio thinking, “Yum-yum, kitty snacks!”? Nice to see him still hanging out with BFF Fuzzy.
Shio’s made his first debut on our favorite Shiba Inu comic site! It has always been Shio’s dream to be on a comic and he his thrilled. We’ve always loved Gina’s comics and had the opportunity to finally meet her in person at the Canine Cocktail Pawty in June. Click here to see Shio’s first tip…

that is too funny. i look forward to more tips!
That’s often what we hear parents say to their child as they point to Shio. I’m often tempted to turn to them and explain to the child that Shio’s not a fox… just a dog that looks like a fox but instead I keep on walking. I hope that they’re not confusing those poor kids….

Eh, I always just go with it:
“Is she a fox?”
“Yup, I totally kidnapped her from the forest and domesticated her…100% fox”
“it’s a fox dog!”
