My Shibas love the beach too. It’s so great to let them off the leash to run free. I had to laugh at that last picture of the dog passed out. My dogs do the same thing – too cute!

Seriously I don’t think I have ever seen something so funny!! Romeo just loves walks so much I can’t imagine him doing that. Does he want to go another way or go back insde?! Too funny!
pita has started going thsi right around the corner from our house. she stops and sits. i ahve to go over and pet her and then she walks again…silly shibas.
she did actually lie down this morning and refused to get up.

LOL! At least, not in THAT direction! Shibas…Luckily we don’t have this issue with Zuko but he has his “other” moments.
This is such familiar view for us, too. I try not to laugh but the squished face is so funny that sometimes, I can’t help it.
Shio cracks me up!! Romeo never turns down a walk! But I do have to catch him to put his collar on because he gets so excited/nervous about the walk that he will run upstairs. Shiba’s are so weird sometimes. But I can’t help but love them so much!
@Julee – Zuko does that too! We thought he was avoiding the leash but he is actually excited. Once in awhile he’ll run into the back room and bark and goes into the play bow and bounces all over the place. Once we catch up with him, it is no trouble getting the leash on him. Weirdo.

Oh Shio, now what? Was your mommy going in the “wrong” direction again–away from the play parks? It’s cooler today, and you had your undercoat brushed out. So what’s up with you? Are you trying to say you have an injury and can’t walk? Well, Mr. Shio, we have seen you playing–you’re fine! Btw, that is the most pathetic look ever–shiba academy award for Shio!
