We bought Buddy from our breeder when we picked up Shio. Buddy is a Snuggle Puppy stuffed animal had has a velcro underbelly that can be opened up to insert a “beating” heart and heated warmer. This gives Buddy the feel of a real dog next to your puppy when he may be experiencing separation…

Shio, you are so silly! Natto throws hissy fits on hot days. Once, while on a walk during the summer, he stopped and lay spread eagle, paws out, legs out in the middle of the crosswalk. Wouldn’t budge. Was almost dragged the rest of the way with humiliated dog walker.
haha pong does that too. She sits first and if you try to drag her, she lies down just like Shio! hehe

hmm… maybe no feeding before the walk and lure with cheese/favorite treat? Zuko doesn’t do this, but if he did, that would be our first attempt to solve the “issue”!

I wish I knew the cause of this lay-down protest! I’ve tried several different treats, cold water, dragging, pulling, ignoring, cooing and commands. All to no avail!
