More Beach Playtime

What a beautiful day we had today - perfectly cool weather for the pack to hit the beach.

The non-shibas were more than happy to dip their paws into the water; of course, the shibas stayed as far away as possible.

Shio and Nami are really getting along nicely. They are always chasing each other and playing tag.

All in all a great day for everybody.

Fort Tryon Park

Fall is definitely approaching, because the air is less humid and the temperature is down -- a perfect time to take the pack for some longer walks.

We decided to go to Fort Tryon Park, which has some nice walks as well as a decent dog-run.

After playing in the dog-run, we headed towards the Cloisters.

Of course, they did not allow dogs in the museum itself, but we got to see the outside of the castle.

South Street Seaport

Despite the rain overnight, we took the pups to South Street Seaport on Sunday as the weather turned for the better.

Emi, for some reason, was deathly scared of the cracks in the pavement. She sniffed them for a long time and hopped over them with her tail down...

We did not know that at the Seaport there is what is called the "Smorgasbar" -- we saw some familiar food stalls there, including Red Hook Lobster Bar.

After lunch, we took a brief stroll around the neighborhood. The sun came out and the puppies got pretty hot. They were pretty tired by the time we got back to our car.
